Fantastic halfback who was hounded out of the game down here for behaving exactly his age.

A travesty and people should be ashamed.

I hope he goes over and kills 'em.

Explain to everyone then why every other 22 year old playing in the NRL doesnt have the same problem?

How can I explain the whims of those who choose to report of the behaviour of some, while ignoring others.

A better way to address this is for you to explain what you think Tim Smith did that was wrong.

You obviously cant otherwise you would have atleast tried.

There would be 100 people his age playing in the NRL. Are you trying to tell me that he was just selected at random to be picked on.

Give me a break. Everyone knows that the media exxagerates these types of things, but its only the meatheads that attract negative media attention in the first place.

Yes. I am saying he was singled out and picked on and hounded out of the game.

What did he do that you think was wrong?

What did he do wrong:
OK he doesn't run
IS kick happy
Can't pass right to left
Throws a thousand forward passes a week
Looks like a mong with his tongue stuck out
That f**king walk he has like he's some hip hop clown (particularly evident when walking to a scrum)

Have I missed anything ?

I disagree. I think he made a number of mistakes, got himself into the spotlight as being a kid that couldnt behave and stayed there. His form was terrible as well.

I really dont see it as him being hounded, he resigned at a point where he had come back and supposedly solved his issues. He left due to an illness that he wasnt coping with. The fact that he made it significantly worse by constantly drawing attention to himself was his own fault.

Just take his position at the end of last season, from where it got to this year was entirely his doing. Parramatta were very understanding of his issues, the media did nothing more than report on what had taken place. Any first grade footballer who is continually getting so smashed that they cant function, abusing people in the clubs territory and consistently breaking warnings and corrections is bound to draw that kind of media attention.

Going to the UK....his mate Piggy Riddell will be there too.
I suspect he will have no family network over there...
This has a train wreck all over it.

Never lost a game against West tigers from the time he debuted against in them in 2005?

Caused some of their supporters to become bitter and twisted?

Is a better player than John Morris?

Can play on with a dislocated shoulder?

And smith only looked good cos he had Morris beside him

When he was in form he was one of the best halfbacks in the NRL.

He was too...way, way, way back in 2005..... but it was all down hill from the start of the final series that season. Picked up a couple of nice tattoos, and a couple of neat earrings..
On the field, whilst every other half back improved..He marked time...
As 'Joe the Camera Man' said.."Can't run, can't tackle"....a passenger over 3/4 of the field - where he is hardly sighted.... but handy if you need a sixth tackle kick close to the line.
Off the field, became proficient at giving a mouthful to grandfathers and came under media scrutiny for being a 'goose.'
Copped a couple of hefty fines from the Club for off field 'indiscretions'. Desperately needs to get his groove back by playing in the ESL.
I imagine his school report card would have said ... "Would find it hard to survive in the real world where hard work is a requirement"
