Time to move on Smithy

Noneed to convince me eels fan, I could care less, but you'd better let your mate Fitzgerald know that, he obviously believes otherwise as he has publicly stated.

Smith is the main problem with the Eels. Every time they lose it's someone elses fault, how many times do we see Smith blaming the refs, or some other mystical force for the loss? He never says we played shite, it was our fault, it's always something. And why would the Eels players try harder or try to improve when their coach is openly saying it's not their fault, they are doing nothing wrong. He said they were right to drop their heads in the Roosters game, what BS, what ever happened to pride, when was it ok to throw in the towel at 12 - 6? pathetic truely pathetic, Smith is the worst thing that could happen to any club. Whats next Smith, the planets weren't aligned correctly thus causing the eels to lose?

Just to add to Smiths problems,Vella,Hodgson and Dykes are out this week ,bringing the injury toll to 11.Pretty hard for any coach to cope with that.

There haven't always been the injury problem, what is it now, 3 wins in the last 25 or something like that, it's more than just injuries.
