tip for world cup

I think the All Blacks can win it. People always say that England will beat the All Blacks but you also have to remember that the game the two teams played earlier in the year was in wet NZ weatherwhich isnt ideal for the all black backline, also it was the AB's first game in the season and they were still getting their combinations togethor. Also if Carlos had his kicking boots on we would of won. It was only a 15-13 scoreline.

GO DA ALL BLACKS

i dont think there is any doubt

nz and england seem to be the only likely teams to take it out

with australia rated a possibility

basically the irb could have save a lot of money by having a 10 team world cup

Tell that to the other ten teams. This is a dream for them to play in teh world cup and against their hereos, anyway i think some of these teams will play quite well, Romania are playing pretty alright they are almost doing better than the aussies did when we smashed them in tri nations.

rugby league could get 20 nations together easy if they had the finances

and i dare say many would be better than some of the yawnion minnows

Undoubtedly, but of course those teams will be made up of people born of living in Austalia and New Zealand.

France's form last night has made me think another run to the final isn't beyond them, although they'd most likely have to upset England to get there so I don't know. If Australia don't win the cup I reckon the next best scenario would be a France v All Blacks final, with the All Blacks losing, derailed by the ghosts of past failure. Well we can only hope.

As long as not many of the AB's don't get busted up in the pool matches, I can't see any one beating them. I reckon the best thing to happen to the AB chances were having co-hosing rights taken away from them. Rather then playing on the damp NZ pitches, they get to run around on the dry spring Aussie pitches which I think suits their game better.

And whilst I don't think much of Union overall, I do actually like watching the AB's play, if more sides played like that I would probably watch more games.

PS: are Italy really that shit, or did they just have a bad day. I would've assumed they put up a better contest then that.

You might want to check your facts there first.

You said they were FULL of Aussies and Kiwis. Which is plainly wrong. There are only one or two in these teams. And ALL of them have to qualify for recedency have to live there for at least two years. Not a few months as you stated.

Quite right Spelling has never been one of my strong points.

And the wife has just corrected me under regulation 8.1.C of the IRB regulations, to qualify for a country under residency a player has to live within a county for 36 consecutive months immediatly preceding the time of playing.

So your little speel "as opposed to yawnion where minnows are full of aussies and kiwis who go and live somewhere for a couple of months "
is as usual for you total crap.

Not wading into the Argument (To be honest, Union had a great Head start on League in most countries, but that point is frivolous) But where Does that French Player Marsh Come from?

It irks me that a strong Rugby Nation like France has somebody, who can clearly not be a frenchman running around.

The Irb is pretty strict in regards to the Residency rule. That's why the Russian Union is now the Russian League
