I'm thinking the way the All Blacks are going I dont see any one beating them. Their backs are just a league above others like the Aussies.
But the way France played against Figi I think they could get to the semis or furthre

PLEASE

So now your saying that anybody who moves to another country and has been livng there for three years can't consider themselves part of that country? a little racist isn't it. Thats beside the point anyway, where is your evidence that there are "minnows are full of aussies and kiwis who go and live somewhere for a couple of months "

Let me guess you don't have any.

Not wading into the Argument (To be honest, Union had a great Head start on League in most countries, but that point is frivolous) But where Does that French Player Marsh Come from?

It irks me that a strong Rugby Nation like France has somebody, who can clearly not be a frenchman running around.

Marsh was a New Zealander who moved to to France four or five years ago. He had never played for the All Blacks, NZ'A or the sevens team. Therefore he is now eligble to play since he has lived in France the required length of time.

he could have lived in france for 10 years

but in my mind is not french

in the RLWC at least you had to have a grand parent born in the country

in yawnion you can move to whatever country you like and play for them

Again with the bullshit.

So you are now saying that the Kiwi League team shouldn't have over 3/4's pf their team playing for them. All Those who were born in Samoa and moved to New Zealand shouldn't play for them.

Every sport, thats EVERY sport has eligibility criteria. In this case it is no different to League. Three years living in a country qualifies you to play for that country.

But again you have failed to provide proof of your claim "minnows are full of aussies and kiwis who go and live somewhere for a couple of months " . Come on where's your proof or are you just taking out of your arse.

the fact is that in rugby league you play for a country that you have blood lines to

or for a country that you have a deep cultural link to

in union you can move anywhere and play for any country

I think the All Blacks will win it. Simply because of their depth. Carter, Nonu, Mauger in the centres just to name a few. Tha's not including Umaga who got injured. England will challenge but for mine NZ will have too much class.

That criteria is EXACTLY the same as League's the reason that you don't see players moving country for that lenagth of time is that there is only two professional comps.

Again you fail to back up your first statement sp it must be that you were in fact talking out of your ARSE !!!

And i will add that while the French Union team has a kiwi in it. The French League team had two kiwis in it the last time the Kiwis played them.

After the first games have have been completed you would have to say the favs would be:

NZ - A few injuries creeping in though
Eng - They have a few injury concerns and looked a bit patchy
Aus - A bit Patchy but look a hell of a lot better than they did throught the 3N.
Frn - Just looked good have to be right up there.
SA - They seemed to have reinvented themselves and looked good
Irl - Very solid would still have to be the dark horse.

Arg - Disappointed with their showing and wouldnt rate them now lets hope they improve.

Surprise package for me.

Romaina(?) - They put up a good showing and were a bit unlucky with a few calls going against them. I wouldnt mind seeing them play some top opposition a bit more often. Good forward pack, some good out side backs and some good option taking just a lack of big game experiece i think cost them.

Yes I think you have stated that before Dimn before during and after the first round I think we et the point Dim. Move on, at least give us something to debate instead of this rather over used one line.

Also it amazes me that you have told everyone that wants to read your dribble and those that dont how much you dislike union but it appears you still managed to watch some of it. Turn the TV off no ones is asking you to watch it, get off your ass and go out side and see what the sun looks like.
