Tips for Kearney from Captain Obvious

1. Fui and Mannah are the 2 most likely to bend the line and get the team going forward. Perhaps starting the game with both of them playing in the front row as front rowers is worth trying? It has in the past.
2. Hindmarsh is an eighty minute tackling machine. He is not going to produce charges in the middle of the field like Fui and Mannah, but what he does is make 50 tackles in the middle of the field so guys like Fui and Mannah don't have to and can concentrate on what they do best for the team (see tip 1) Surely we have enough front rowers with Fui, Mannah, Allgood and Poore that we don't need to waste him in this role as well.
3. Sandow is the halfback, stop mucking around with it and let him play.
4. If Casey Maguire is going to be on the bench then use him as an interchange for Keating. He is not a backrower and should not be interchanged with one. He interchanges as a hooker or to cover for an injury or not at all.
5. I have heard Willie Tonga has some ability in the centres and even played for Australia fairly recently. Perhaps you could consider trying to come up with a play of some type that would allow him to get the ball in a position to run it from somewhere other than dummy half?
6. Lasalo provides nothing.
7. Whilst I appreciate the enormous amount of time and effort you spent on coming up with last weeks game plan of one out hit ups X 5 then put up a bomb perhaps you could turn to page 2 of your game plan book and see what it offers?
8. Hire an Assistant coach or Coaching Director or whatever you want to call it, but get them now!

I was wondering how long it would take Captain Unobvious to turn up.
He didn't disappoint me.
