Titans Blow It Again

for the second straight week the titans are in control of a game only to see it slip away in the 4th qtr.

after regaining the lead in the 4th the titans went for a 2 point conversion. mcnair, in alot of pain, badly overthrows a wide open mason meaning the titans only led by 5. instead of being assured of not losing this instead gave the jaguars a chance to win in regulation.

after holding the jaguars in check for 3 qtrs the titans defence just wasn't up to the task in the 4th and when the jaguars scored it was for the win instead of a tie.

these were the games the titans would win in seasons past but it looks like it's going to be different this season. and this with chris brown killing it at rb, rushing for 100+ yards for three straight games. something is wrong.

titans 1-2, colts 2-1, jaguars 3-0.

the titans are already in deep trouble losing twice to divisional foes, at home at that. i don't know if they're good enough to pull themselves out.

the titans fans really have to be worried now. being thumped by the chargers doesn't bode well fir the rest of the year.

their defence doesn't look like it is up to the task.

can mcnair inspire the team to start winning next week in greenbay? he better.

although they did start 1-5 a couple of years ago and finished 11-5.

I dont think they have the depth in their roster that they did back two years ago where they were a strong team. I like McNair but i think hes looking old and tired this year.

why such disrespect for such a great qb?

he will show today on mnf why so many people think so highly of him.

Of course he carved up the Packers, did you see that rabble? That was embarrasing watching them! Surely they are not fit to be getting paid?

you asked mcnair to show what he's got and he showed you today. people were using manning's game against the packers to prove how great he is, why not mcnair?

the titans have been in control of every match mcnair has played in this year but a couple of freak plays (mason having the ball stolen from him in the endzone against the colts and an injured mcnair overthrowing a wide open mason in the endzone for a two point conversion against the jaguars) and poor defence have led to a couple of losses at home.

the defence stepped up today and once again the titans were in control of the match all the way.

apart from being a great qb mcnair is also a great leader for the team.

If you are going to use the example of Manning why not mention that he absolutely ravaged Green Bay, McNair had a good day but it was no where near the same league.

do you think the titans are the type of team that will call 22 straight pass plays? did you see chris brown rip off two long td runs in the first five minutes of the game? did you see drew bennett drop more balls than he caught?

mcnair will never put up the same numbers as manning because he plays in a completely different scheme. now fisher has a legitimate rb again he will keep calling runs, that doesn't make mcnair any less of a qb.

the game against the chargers showed how important mcnair is to the team. they were never in it from the opening series. mcnair comes back the next week and they start dominating the match again. he is a great leader for the team, why can't you see that?

The Packers are getting worse week after week. Im not worried about the Titans in the AFC South. The Texans however, they have the team, they just need to learn to be winners.

They need to make David Carr grow his hair till they make the playoffs. It worked for 2 wins in a row didnt it? ;-)
