SEATTLE(AP) —Tennessee Titans rookie running back Stafon Johnson(notes) has left Saturday night’s preseason opener with what the team is calling a dislocated ankle.
Johnson was hit high and spun around by Seattle’s Kam Chancellor(notes) following a short reception on the final play of the third quarter.

As the Titans prayed on one knee nearby and coach Jeff Fisher held Johnson’s head, the running back was driven off the field while seated on the back of a cart. An air cast was on his lower right leg. He briefly held his hands over his face.
The team’s Twitter feed said the initial diagnosis is a dislocated right ankle.
Johnson had his 2009 season at USC ruined when a falling weight bar crushed his neck and larynx.
He signed with the Titans as a free agent following April’s draft and was trying to win a backup job to 2,000-yard rusher Chris Johnson.

Chris Johnson, player for the Tennessee Titans, rushed for 2008 yards last season. The words "Titans RB Johnson dislocates ankle" implies that one of the best running backs in the league has been injured.

Ok, so i just watched the video on nfl.com and i have to say i was nearly brought to tears (nearly!)

I hope this kid becomes the second all time leading rusher (behind ES), because far out, he has been through so much. He is a really strong kid.

My prayers are with him.
