Hawkins in #18 and Lussick in #22... I'm hopeful both will be late inclusions in the game day side - at the expense of Papalii and De Silva.

Not so hopeful about the result this week, think we'll get smashed by a team with their eyes on the prize of playing finals footy, while we're trying out potential combos for 2026.

This season has definitely become a trial by fire.
No Kautoga, Russell, Tuivati or Moretti. None of whom are currently the cream of the competition yet without them we look really stretched.
The only addition thus far is JDB means if we can’t find good replacements for Lane, Matterson, Hands & Simonsson, few people are going to need to swallow their pride and tell those 4 to lace up their boots

We can’t really use injuries as an excuse anymore, as it’s part of the modern game. Rabbitts, Dolphins and others have been hit much harder than us. We just rely too heavily on our #7.

That’s what I mean though sort of. It’s not like it’s when Moses & Lomax were injured. The 4 injured aren’t really that integral, yet with them out plus the other 4 we’re currently paying to play overseas or just not play has made this week’s team very thin. A win this week would go down as one of our greatest wins ever. Grin and bare it for rest of this season but we can’t start next season (heck next pre-season) in the same position
