In League he's worth over a million dollars a year. If Brown is getting $1.3m then Clearly is worth at least that to some club (he's probably getting that much now anyway, just not on the books).

If he goes to Union I'd say it's to try his hand at something new and give himself a challenge because he wouldn't get much more over there thsn he'd get in NRL.
