Which is appropriate. If we learned anything last week, which for some is doubtful is that CV isn’t quite ready for regular NRL.
Can he fill the gap. Sure. Can he do a job on any given day absolutely, but to think that he is a better squad member than hiroti is wrong.
Stonestreet is lucky to be there. Not ready either

DA has been used very poorly this year, and lost all his mojo. Some of Fitzy's coaching has been short of the mark. Talakai should go to 14 FWIW, would probably make more sense now we get nothing out of that spot. Nothing.

I think it's a cost-cutting exercise.
Everyone is assigned a number in the squad at the start of the year, and jerseys are sized and made to order.

If anyone else gets named in the 14 we'd need to order a new jersey.
This way, DA just wears the same one every week, regardless of whether he plays or not.

Save for the odd injury here and there that have necessitated change, I think it's worked well.
We've really only had to pay for ~23 jerseys all year.

I really feel he has been severely missed. That period during origin where we stunk it up might have been different with his body shape. Just adds a variable that is hard to defend

Thinking about it (be f**ked if I could watch it again) we were way too lateral last week in that woeful performance. Sifa and Brit are back this week so that should improve. Iro also runs straight and hard (missing him) and Toby is probably our hardest running forward behind BHU and played f**k all mins. Jessie runs sideways and TTF runs in circles. Hopefully we are more direct this week with Sifa and Brit straightening the attack.

Agree and it changes a lot of things if you start him with AFB. Also because we have decent depth players losing guys like Hazo, Nikora, Sifa etc just gets glossed over but it compounds.
