No team has beat us twice this year, we’ve always won the second game if we lost the first (tigers and manly) so I say we are specials for some revenge!

Just coming back in here to reiterate that I just hate the Dogs so much.

That period over the last decade or so where they’ve been a shit team finishing at the bottom of the ladder filled me with such joy. I knew that even if the Eels lost that weekend at least there was a more than good chance the Dogs Will as well, which meant I could enjoy it still.

That they have now worked their way back up into finals footy and this year the top of the ladder has caused me some mental damage, especially knowing that the eels are not going well.

The day they were stripped of their points in 2002 is one of my favourite memories as a sports fan. In each one of their grand final appearances I’ve cheered on their opposition as loud and hard as I would the Eels, and when they’ve lost I’ve celebrated like I won.

I hate their players. I hate their fans. I hate their whole organisation. I hate driving on Canterbury Rd because I hate them so much. The whole club is scum.

So yeah…I hope we win this game.
