I have an axe to grind with the nrl.
So tomorrow's game is not on Ch9....so why the eff is it starting at 4????
Should be a 2 or 3pm kickoff at the latest.
Especially if they want families at the game. Finishing 6pm then getting home is just too late particularly after a long weekend.. a more friendly timeslot would be 2pm...
Rant over but hopefully someone with brains from the NRL or a journo will read this....

Agree, should be 3pm start - especially because it's almost middle of f**king winter (two weeks until solstice).

I guess they'll look at tickets sold (55-60K) and feel justified that 4pm is best holiday Monday starting time... which kind of sucks.

Apparently Katy Perry is on at Homebush at 7.30pm, so the earlier start would have been better for crowd/road/transport management in the precinct too.
