I agree with this but would put Sandow ahead of Ben Roberts.BEST ever player: Ray Price
WORST ever player: Ben Roberts
BEST value for money signing: Isiah Papalii
BIGGEST ever flop: Anthony Watmough
Player who never reached his potential: Jarryd Hayne
Manu Ma'u was nearly my pick for best value too.BEST ever player: Jarryd Hayne
WORST ever player: Jeff Fenech
BEST value for money signing: Manu Ma'u

Bye to win by 8...
Best ever player: Ray Price
Worst ever player: Um... Paul Kent
Best value for money signing: Luke Burt
Biggest ever flop: Adam Dykes
Player who never reached their potential: Adam Ritson
It was a close call. Sandow and Foran are right up there.I agree with this but would put Sandow ahead of Ben Roberts.
Adam Dykes was a titanic failure, but who saw it coming ? IIRC we signed him hot off the heals of winning the Dally M gold/silver or 6 of the year !
Actually Gaz the last one I’m going to choose Tim Smith. Hayne did reach his potential as the best player in the game. Formally he achieved it twice.BEST ever player: Ray Price
WORST ever player: Ben Roberts
BEST value for money signing: Isiah Papalii
BIGGEST ever flop: Anthony Watmough
Player who never reached his potential: Jarryd Hayne
BEST ever player: Ray Price
WORST ever player: none, anyone in an NRL system/squad past or present is one hell of a player. Better then 99% of players who played the game at some level
BEST value for money signing: Steve Edge
Poor value: Bob Linder
Player who never reached his potential: Tim Smith
That’s a fair call as well.Actually Gaz the last one I’m going to choose Tim Smith. Hayne did reach his potential as the best player in the game. Formally he achieved it twice.
Winning the Dally M doesn’t make you the best player in the game. It sometimes reflects that you are, but often it’s simply the way the cards fold with media voting. Nico Hynes & Jake Wighton were never the best players in the NRL, yet have Dally M’s.Hayne did reach his potential as the best player in the game. Formally he achieved it twice.
Exactly - he was at his peak when signed, hence (imo) turned into the biggest flop. Foran not far behind on similar basis, though I think we knew Watmough might have come with some injury issue?Adam Dykes was a titanic failure, but who saw it coming ? IIRC we signed him hot off the heals of winning the Dally M gold/silver or 6 of the year !
