To All the Michael Witt fans.

For all those that entertain the notion that this guy is our long-awaited answer at half, don't kid yourself! We played a team with a fullback who is VERY suspect under the high ball....number of bombs in his direction: 1. We played a team that is suspect around the rucks when moving backwards....number of times our half ran at their weakness: 0. And don't even get me started with that drop-out! Dykes may not be our most consistent player but at least he isn't our dumbest.

Where is the coaching for the 5th tackle option????? The players can only play to the game plan they are given, and unfortuanately for us the game plans are inferior to any other team in the NRL...........even the Rabbitohs!!!!!

Fully agree with the Dux on this one.

You can't blame the forwards - it was the lack of direction from half back which cost us. With all the possession and field position (won by the forwards) in the first half, we should have been leading by a lot more.

Witt must have clocked off at half time because I almost forgot he was out there in the second half. If anything, Wagon was looking more dangerous and creative with the ball than Witt was.

Also, someone needs to teach Tsoulos how to tackle. He runs it up hard, but his defense is a joke.

Everyone makes freaking mistakes...that drop-out.........oh wow it was a bad one...who gives a sh*t the game was already out of reach at least he kept trying and it was obvious we need 3 play-makers Witt AND Morris were struggling....

Oh and let me just say....with you saying this im guessing you could do better against Penrith

Well i thought Morris was great tonight but if you want to blame someone for loss of direction wouldn't you blame Morris cause he is the dummy half who directs which way the ball goes and if he doesn't get it to the half back or 5/8th what can the half back do?

I am pretty sure that was one of the reasons why BS kept him in PL for so long but he seems to have gone gun-shy again. I think Morris needs to get more involved on the last, he has a much better kicking game but isn't utilised well.

I agree with the dux. Witt was awful. He is not the answer. Dykes looks like Wally Lewis compared to Witt. Maybe the Brisbane rumours are true, I'm hoping they are. Quite frankly I think Crusher miscalculated in relation to both Witt brothers. They are at best fringe first graders.

MICHAEL WITT is only 20! He has played like 15 First Grade games in his career...and your saying he isn't as good as Dykes??? CONGRATULATIONS you TWIT, you deserve a bloody diploma... he's not supposed to be that great yet! He has another 12 bloody years of footy in him...give the guy a break!

It was ONE BAD GAME, cut him some slack....he's NOT superman FFS but Dykes is injured and Witt's our best option (coz he is a TRUE HALFBACK)

Witty was good early on in the game, but late in the first half and for most of the second half he didn't involve himself much at all, he was dissapointing.
However in saying that, I don't think we should write him off yet or say he is not the answer.

Karmichael Hunt is only 17...Fittler was only 17....ET was only 17....Johns was only 18...I could go on. People were prepared to let Dykes go at the start of the season to find a place for Witt. Since when do you knowingly get rid of a superior player you idiot!!
