The whole diet was the pyramid thing where you eat more carbohydrates and less fats, sugar, oil and stuff and meat in the middle. 200 calories a day max.

200 Calories  , man that doesnt seem right, even if you have to lose tons of weight.

My chiro also said I had a crooked spine and it could be possible that I might have nerve damage or a nerve being blocked as it's caught between the discs in my spine and therefore my stomach could not tell my brain that I was full and so overate.

a bizzare question, but did your left thigh often get numbess/burness ?

And the most important thing is EXERCISE. So walk stairs instead of elevator. Push/pull open doors instead of automatic doors or someone opening them for you. Walk instead of taking the car or public transport. It all helps.

Agree, Excercise should be the number one priority along with a well balanced eating plan.

No Christmas pudding and pork crackling this year I suspect eelsta?

Good luck. Losing weight is the second hardest thing in the world to do......after giving up bungers, but if you take up HJ's advice, you'll have double the problem. ;-)

Good luck eelsta,

I know just how you feel, and what a battle it is to lose weight.

I have just lost 14 kilos in 4 months, and believe me, if I can do
it, anyone can.

Mind you, I also had the help of some very expensive pills called
Reductil, but they have been a massive help, and I know I couldn't
have done it without them.

I tried my jersey on yesterday, and it's WAY too big. How good is that ?
I think I'll have to buy myself a smaller one, just as soon as I get the
payment for that season ticket out of the way first...... :D

Congratulations eelsta on what you have lost so far, and I'll pop back
every now and then to see how you're doing. I wish you heaps of luck.
You can do it...... :thumnn
i went on those tablets for a while but they sent me pscyho, well more than normal it got to the stage that my staff all were going to walk out on me so i stopped
and now weight watchers is the go. thanks for your interest and i shall carry on 8)

Congratulations Eelsta. I lost 21kg on Weight Watchers and I think it is the best way to get results. You don't have to eat their food and it's just a matter of watching what you eat. I didn't call it a diet as such but more a healthy eating plan. As was mentioned, exercise is very important. I was lucky that at the time I was living on the 3rd floor of a block of flats and there was no lift, so that was my exercise, I was also working as a sales rep at the time so a bit of walking was involved in that. I have since put on about 11kg that I lost but I moved into a house that doesn't even have a front door step! I keep telling myself I'll go for walks but that's as far as I get to the front door.

Keep up the good work!

I can't get a dog for 3 reasons. First, I'm never home because I have 2 jobs, second, my back yard is the size of a 5c piece and third, my lease doesn't allow pets. :(

I agree.........I gave up smoking almost 4 years ago........and losing weight is WAY harder.

I'm sorry to hear that you weren't able to take the tablets. They are working great for me,
and no side effects at all...........lucky me.

I used to walk on my treadmill every day....until the mongrel broke down. It needs a new electrical
board in it, and I have spent months trying to find out where I can get a new one, and no-one seems
to know. It's cost me way too much money to just throw it out and buy a new one. Unless I win lotto
this week.......now THAT would be a Xmas present that would go down a treat...

I tried that, but lucky me........it's Weslo........bloody American

It would cost me more than the treadmill is worth to get the part over here.

No-one in Oz wants to know because I didn't buy it brand new.

Mongrels......if they think that will get me to buy a new one from them they are seriously mistaken.....
