How good were todays jerseys ??? Farkin great in my opinion. With our great record when wearing the black and white jerseys, you`d think common sense would prevail and we`d wear them all the time !

It was a great move. We wear the black and white and we win, it`s that simple !
It`s mind over matter, wearing a black shirt in hot weather makes next to no difference.

I`ll tell you something. Anyone who would worry about wearing a black shirt in hot weather lacks heart and should not be playing first grade.

the black jerseys may not be a good idea as far as comfort is concerned.. but all that aside if we are only talking about how good they 'look' then as much as I hate to admit it, I think they were attractive jerseys.

Surprisingly in yesterday's heat, Wests Tigers chose to wear the old Magpies all-black jumpers.

Obviously they were honouring their commitment to wear the jersey to commemorate the heritge year, although maybe it would have been wiser to do so later in the year in the cooler months.

Personally, I can't wait to see a bit of orange back on the jerseys.

I took this photo of a tiger on a recent safari in SA. It makes you wonder why we've included white in the jersey when the predominant colour should be black. Perhaps, an alternative that would also appease a large section of the support base would be to model our jersey on an old favourite.

In fairness, this jersey was a good luck omen for Penrith when they won in 2003 whereas the Wests Tigers have never acheived anything wearing the orange strip.

i hope the jersey doesnt also bring with it all the spoons it has collected over the years, maybe thats our problem, so many spoons that every one at the club thinks they should be the cook.

I was hoping we'd see the vertically striped jumpers from many years ago for both the Wests and Balmain jumpers. They are the best looking one when remade.

Personally i think the remade Wests and Balmain retro jumpers look like utter sh*t.

Both team never had a vertical striped jumper ...maybe balamin, Wests didnt.

I don't recall vertically striped for Tigers, horizontally yes. Black, orange & white hoops would look the bollocks.
