Early days again and I'll have a closer look, but I gave My Middi a decent chance for the race last weekend and it went ok running a place. Will have a look at the form for this and see if it can step up to the 'acid test'. It is 151/1 for the Slipper too.

Had a little look around and I'm thinking Enemy of Average at 15/1 for the Golden Slipper might be one that will shorten and be amongst the favourites after Saturday.......

Enemy of Average (along with Montmelo) has become my Golden Slipper horse. Would be wanting it to go close here... Was a big win in it's only start, coming from last to just edge out Ulfah (who has impressed in recent runs) and they gapped the rest. Half brother to Exceed and Excel. Hayes bringing it over from Adelaide now after a freshen up and with Bossy on board will be ready to win and then go onto the Slipper. Big Joker has been consistent without winning and went home ok behind Plagiarize last start. Expecting it to run well. Headstart faces acid test, but won his maiden in good time. Diego Garcia will be ready first up from the Waterhouse camp and will run well. Reluctant to leave out My Middi. Could be a handy horse.

did you see the telegraph today Macca?

Enemy of Average is 26th or similar in order of entry

Montmelo wasn't even listen in the paper

EDIT: Can't find order of entry anywhere. BUT of course, if either horse wins tomorrow or next week then they are exempt, and they'd get in with prizemoney levels anyway

Yeah figured he'd be low only having the 1 start. A win tomorrow ideal, a good place should lift him i the money (hopefully enough).

I'd be thinking they are here to win the Todman then onto the Slipper and Sires.

My ticket says so anyway

Fair dink that was a shocker. Nothing like the horse that beat Ulfah in it's only start. Wet track and Sydney way of going aside, it never looked right at all.

Good win by Gai's. She's got a live one for the Slipper.
