What a shrewd recruit he's proving to be. Seemed purely a depth signing at the time who'd likely play mostly NSW Cup but he's been a valuable first grader. He's all about effort and hard work but there's a bit more than meets the eye as well, he's got some footwork and seems a gangly strong frame who's tricky to bring down. I doubt it's a coincidence that in the 3 tries we scored while he was on the field, all of them came from an Eisenhuth play the ball.

Anyway. I like him a lot! I compared him to Jon Green in the pre-season and as much as I loved Jonny Green (2010 legend) I think that's still selling Eisenhuth short.

I dont really have an opinion on Eisenhuth yet.. I wouldnt have him as a 2nd rower over Sua, Leilua or even RFM.. but he does cover us really well for injury.

As a lock.. maybe.. I havent really established an opinion yet.. I know that 13 shouldnt be JDB.. Sele maybe if he can stay fit.. the good thing about Eisenhuth for me is he frees up JDB & Sele to be in our prop rotation, where we desperately need that quality.

That said, none of our 11-13 kids are going to be knocking the doors down for 2025, so I wouldnt mind extending him for another 12mths.. I think hes too good to let go and he is versatile... the challenge is we need spots in our 30 free'd up, so decisions will have to be made..

Note that in 2025 we have 2nd rowers RyanC, Halangahu & Egan in our 30 and NickT in our Devs next year... but I assume we will get rid of Russell and Shereb... but I do feel we are very 2nd rower heavy at the expense of other positions in terms of squad development and depth.

Great tackling technique & ability to win the ruck. Also he excels in the effort areas like kick pressure, something that's been lacking in our team for a long time. An excellent recruit, especially fending off Penrith for him. Proved me wrong.

When you’re a shit club, and you recruit fringe first graders from top clubs, they’re more than likely going to be better than the players on your current team

Take note Dragon’s recruitment team…sign
players from top teams, not from shit teams like ours!…it’s not rocket surgery!

I like Eisenhuth. Great defender and can make some really strong carries. He clearly wasn't bought to be a star; rather, he was a signing that could be compared to the reason Hook bought Mbye, which was having a aplayer there to motivate, instil discipline and set a standard (although it was a terrible idea and had the opposite effect of what was intended). The reason it's working now is because Eisenhuth has come from a winning club and knows the importance of one-percenters when it comes to winning a game, especially when most of our team barely knows the winning feeling.
