Tom toured with Aussie schools in December 2002 in the team that lost 2-0 to England. IMO he was the best Australian in the party and from what I saw (I was at both tests), he is certain to be a star.

Yeah if he's the one he will do okay. James Graham did kick his booty though

Why wasnt he listed to play, not even for the Clydesdales? Is he injured?

Tom is a star of the future, he's just abit raw at the moment, and fair enough too since he was thrown into 1st grade after only a few lower grade games, I saw him play for Farrer a few years back when he was 15 and I thought he was the best schoolboy forward I'd seen even though Farrer got beat by 50 that game.

Tom played an absolutely brilliant game against Souths Logan yesterday afternoon. He scored two tries and his barnstorming runs were simply sensational. hope he keeps this form up.

Yeah, I watched the game aswell and he did play pretty well. That was a good try just before half time, good hard angle running saw him palm a few off and in under the sticks

No, they didn't oppose each other. Learoyd played against us in 2002 for Aussie schoolboys. Graham didnt play in that. He played in 2003 for the academy v AIS.

Learoyd was up against guys like Ryan Bailey, Tommy Gallagher, Gareth Hock, Jon Wilkin and Jamis Langley.

For the last two weeks, Tom Learoyd has played centre for the Clydedales. He is 116kg and is the fastest forward over 40m in the NRL.

yeah he was always a fast runner at school, and could nearly always get away from wingers and fullbacks when he broke the line.
that is a pretty interesting stat though!

No he isn't, Craig Wing is. Excluding hookers, Sonny-Bill Williams is faster (I'm getting my stats from that story in RLW, I'm pretty sure it had Sonny-Bill at 4.81s and Learoyd at 4.88 or something like that).

i saw on nrl.com that he played in the win against the eels on saturday night.

by his stats i would assume that he didnt have a bad game and got an ok run out in the middle.

i'm sure he'll be there when origin 3 is on, but it was good to see that he got another run. and i hope he gets many more!
i'm sure many here watched the game, i missed it unfortunately.
so how did he go?

Yeah thats right TH. He is the fastest Bronc over 40m. Still 4.88 is very quick.
Yep especially for someone who's 116kg and is bigger than most front rowers, Willaims is only like 103kg.
