Turbo should bonus points due to the fact he has done what he has done while looking like he has never walked into a weights room before

Hayne did it with Robson and Mortimer as his halves, at a time when wrestling was at its peak.

Turbo did it with premiership winning halves who also happen to be the Australian half back and former Kiwi half. Also in the most attack friendly version of the game ever.

It's not even in question that Hayne 09 was superior.

Hayne.

He was better against the top teams and in big games. Also, Hayne made the GF (lost to a cheating side) and did so with a lot of nuffies in his side.

The correct answer is Dylan Edwards.

Because he actually won a premiership.

(Tommy still Bae though).

Hayne, and it's not even close. Look at the rest of that Parramatta spine, Mortimer, Robson, Keating etc. At least Turbo had a somewhat decent spine to work with.

Hayne played a whole season and got his team to 8th. Turbo missed the first 5 games and his team was last before he got them to the top 4.
Turbo had a better season by a mile but Hayne ended his much better.

The thing with Turbo is he gets the best out of the rest of the team as well where as you look at Hayne's career there was almost zero team success that come with his star power.

2006 - 8th
2007 - 5th
2008 - 11th
2009 - 8th - Lost in GF to *
2010 - 12th
2011 - 14th
2012 - Spoon
2013 - Spoon
2014 - 10th
2015 - NFL - 49ers worst season in there past 20 years lmao.
2016 - Gold Coast Titans - Titans were playing decent before he got there went 2/4 when he joined
2017 - 15th - Fell out with coach and the rest is history
2018 - Spoon - back to Parramatta most predicted Top 4 or near it.

I struggle to think of a player rated so highly with such a poor team record, it all comes down to how he trained and how poorly he rubbed off on the rest of the team imo. Parramatta in 2018 had a decent side, most predicted they would threaten for the premiership, they come last, either side of Hayne being there they had a good season - 2017 came 4th and 2019 5th. Thats why imo Hayne is the most overated player ever and why most sides are better off without him.
