Any chance?

He fits what they are looking for in a development coach.

Has plenty of experience and success.

He’d do better at warriors, he’s great at finding young talent and developing it. Also great at developing team culture. The two things warriors need most.

Was coach of Hull KR suddenly resigned about a month or so ago.
Didn't quite resign, just said that he wasn't going to seek a contract extension when it expires this year.
Might have value, he took the Robins from regular relegation contenders to about mid table the last 2 years.

A middling mediocre SL coach is just the ticket!

Ignorant comment, Tony smith has worked wonders at every SL club he’s been at. Gutted he’s leaving hkr, would have taken us to our first trophy in 35 years I reckon. If anyone can turn around the basket case warriors it’s him.

A coach who dragged a rabble from regular bottom of the table (or relegated to the second division) to finals contention. Might be a better choice than someone like Brown or McGuire who took a top 2 SuperLeague side and kept them there.
