Bringing T-Rex to the Dogs has been one of the very few major mistakes Des has made in an otherwise outstanding career.

That miss tackle on George Burgess was massive; don't forget it was 6-6 at that stage.

It was, but Graham also missed him - and Souths (despite the scoreline) were smashing them, what happened in the last 10 was a long time coming - while Williams made mistakes he was the only Dog that looked at all threatening

I think both Graham & Williams have to both take the blame for that miss on George.

Graham moved up, Williams didn't.

Hard to say who's fault that was. Lack of communication most likely.

Not surprising between those two

I think it would help his game immensely if tried to simply things and run hard and straight. I think he gets caught up too much with trying to confuse defenders with footwork. He should look at someone like George Burgess and take a leaf out of his book. Run hard and straight and do it often with a small jink and he'd be a much better player.

Yep.

If he just run hard, forgot he can pass, he'd be one of the most damaging backrowers in the game. Just look at 2011.

It seems he can do no wrong in Hasler's eyes. His Boyd to his Bennett.

I think the best thing he could do is give him a stint in reggies, & tell him he can only play FG again til he shows he can run straight & hard for a whole game.

Not sure how Hasler can justify keeping him in the team. It's simple, tell him to never try to pass, even if you have a three man overlap. If he can't follow instructions, he goes. The guy is useless, has one of the highest mistake rates in the league, and is nowhere to be found in 60% of games.
At least when he bludges, their completion rate is better.

Here's a debate - T-Plod vs Plod Train (Dave Plodler)

Both love passing to no-one in particular, this is how I imagine them in an office environment:
