I say this after seeing a pic in a guitar brochure for Venue music.

In this world there would have to be someone as fugged in the head as you Mr Devon.;-)

I actually think it's VERY unlikely two people would come up with the same list unless they listed 10 songs by the same band (and even then it would be difficult).

Agreed. Think of diehard pop/boy group fans. There'd be some who name all their favourite songs off one CD, so this greatly maximises the chance of people having the same choices. However, I think these diehard fans who choose only songs by one group would probably be the only ones choosing the same lists. Too many songs out there.

For me, no one would name a song of mine in their top 10, from here anyway, let an entire list.

I'd say you'd get a few, mainly by genre whores. For any given genre there are generally a bunch of albums that are considered "essential" by authorities on that genre, and you'd find a lot of people who have top 10s populated by those albums.

You'd get more than a few, you'd get millions. In Africa alone Im sure you'd see "tribal drums #1" getting a fair run on a lot of lists, I hear "tribal drums #2" is just as popular.
