2. Farah
3. Luke
4. Ballin
5. Friend

+1

In a few years Friend will be in the top 3 if he keeps improving, the others are just veterans who have been incredibly consistent for their club and in Luke and Smith's case for their country

Ball & Luke over Jake Friend... what a bunch of comedians.

Isn't Luke on the bench this week? And ask the QLD selectors if Matt Ploddin is better than Friend.

Nope. Not at all!

But you'd be hard pressed to argue against Jake Friend being the form hooker over the past 18 months.

If that, and the Premiership, isn't enough to see him surpass Issac "benchie" Luke then I don't know what is.

This notion that he needs to "do it for a few more years" is hilarious.

WTF, he won a premiership and that means he's better than Luke?

I was going to ask if Bunniesman has hacked your account, but obviously that's not the case. Just about the dumbest thing I've read recently.

Friend is fortunate to be in a team with SBW, presumably then you think Conescu is a great because he won all those Origins with Wally

1. He's done well but it's only been 18 months, also he's barely played any 80 minute games especially in comparison to the other players

2. Premiership doesn't mean he's a great player, sure he has played well but he still has a long way to go

3. Issac Luke named on the bench is a ploy by Maguire and won't happen this week

Albert, sometimes when i am bored i sit in a very dark corner and pretend i am a carrot,do you partake in this activity as well and more importantly would you make a top 5 list for carrot impersonators?

Luke is very good, but jake has more footy in him.

If I had to choose between the two right now it wouldn't even be close. The improvement in jake far outweighs where Luke is at or is ever likely to get to...as good as he is.

I'd have Jake second if he played 80mins, while I have no doubt he could perform as he does for the full match I have to take points off him because he doesn't get to play 80mins often. Still love him though, would not trade him for anyone.

On this year alone I'd take Ballin over Friend. Doesn't need a rest either, the one time he is rested they lose .
