Kiss IMO were more a 70's group, sure they had some great hits in the 80's and good albums, but i really rate them more a 70's group with Ace & Peter, did they fit the sterotypical glam band???.

I have the video clips to Tears are falling, lick it up, who wants to be lonely and a few others.........but too me they don't quite fit into this genre.

LOL, don't worry it could be worse, the Ramones and their 3 chords , me 2, i wish i lived in the US in the 80's and saw all these bands play, go to arenas and watch a show with the best of what music has to offer, unfortunatley we are stuck with 3 chord punk bands playing out of Australias Wonderfull with their $5 after 5 package  .

That extreme metal list is dsuch a joke I don't know where to start. It must have been based on the opinions of a pretty small group of people (like one) because how the hell else are two Mercyful Fate albums in the top two positions? Conduct a poll on any website/magazine with any swort of numbers voting in it and it would be almost guarranteed that "Reign in Blood" will piss in for the top spot every time yet somehow it isn't even there, yet "Show no Mercy" and "Hell Awaits" are. The author obviously has a bit of a hard-on for Death as well, I mean all but one of their albums? And some of the other choices are just out and out wierd.

I actually agree with you Space Monkey, i was joking before, but in reality, bands like Def Lep, Bon Jovi & Motely crue should have been alot higher.

Ratt deserves to be high up though as they were massive in the US in the 80's...that big that at one stage Bon Jovi & Motely crue were opening for Ratt at Maddison Square Garden.

Death needs it's own list though.

I like this quote for don’t break the oath:
"And as groundbreaking as MASTER OF PUPPETS, NUMBER OF THE BEAST, or SCREAMING FOR VENGEANCE.”
Don’t get me wrong, I think Mercyful Fate and King Diamond have released some of the best metal albums ever released but to put it same league as Iron Maiden, Metallica and Judas Priest is just plain ridiculous.
The whole of Arch Enemys discography in a top 50 of the who's who of extreme music is simply outrageous when bands like Deicide and Sodom arent on the list.
And is Skid Row, Kiss and Judas Priest exactly glam metal?
Metal-rules.com can go and shove it
By the way - Have you had a chance to listen to the new Exodus Spacemonkey?

Yes, The movie's original storyline was based on real-life events in which Owens was asked to join the band after long-time screamer Rob Halford left in the early '90s to pursue his solo career.
If Judas Priest had their way, Rock Star would never make it into theatres
They completley changed the storey around and made it 'hollywood-nised' - typical

Lets just say when ThrashViking called him a long-time screamer he wasn't commenting on his voice.
Halford is so gay it's funny, the cropped hair, the tight studded leather and nipple rings, I mean he'd fit right in on Oxford St on a friday night. And the songs... Ram it Down, Delivering the Goods, Hell Bent for Leather... how the hell did we not realise when we were kids?

How did 'Wages of Sin' by Arch Enemy get so high?
The author of that list obviously has a hard-on for Merciful Fate, Arch Enemy, Death, and In Flames. (I can't stand gothenburg death-lite btw)
