I know Blair was out hurt last week. Is he good to go this week? I'd love to see him get a run in the centres.

So what you're saying Mick is that Blair isn't in the side this week and Walsh has been named but is questionable? :(

I'm not confirming anything.

But I wouldn't be expecting Walsh to be fit judging with the ice on his hamstring after the game.

I'd love to see Bobby Blair slot back into the side while it's firing so well, even coming off the bench. I have always rated Blair very highly and think he would be an ideal utility player.

I must admit I have been one of Elliott's biggest critics over the past couple of years.

I'd really like to see more accolades going to Kingston, Walsh, Grant, Bell and McKendry. The good service from dummy half, organising from Walsh and great go forward from the front rowers is laying the foundation for our season.

Go you mighty Panthers!

My team has the bye this weekend so I'm making myself an honorary Panther until after this game. Hope you don't mind...

Nope I dont mind :D

Walsh is killing it out there. Everyone thought he was a loser, but in reality hes an awesome player. Fit for the red and green.

Agree with some of the other Dragon supporters. I have a bit of a soft spot for you guys as well and its good to see your good young players producing the goods and playing exciting footy. I actually tipped you blokes to do well this year, so its no surprise to me.

Shame SOO has taken the edge of the game, but it should still be the same result though, Dragons by 20. Cheers. ;-)

Ive got a soft spot for the pennies as well, stoked for you guys that your going so well. I dont think this game is going to give anyone a true indication of how/where their teams are going with all the disruptions to the line ups. What Id dearly love is a Dragons/Penrith GF, with both sides 100% full strength.
No excuses, no ref blunders, no controversy just great attack versus great defense, may the best team win...hooyah!

Elliott has gone on record as saying he has had to change things in his coaching. But i still say the turn around can also be credited to Alex Melvile a brilliant coach who came onto the coaching staff this year.
Will be interesting to see how gasnier plays .Not convinced he is going to better the dragons team just yet

Melville is a good caoch mob. My bro in law was coached by him in Flegg out there in 07, speaks highly of him.

According to Gordon today Cooper won the shootout at training but because he doesn't start it'll be Coote.

I dont see any reason why the Panthers cannot win this fixture.

St George are equally disrupted with players unavailable thru SOO and suspension.

The performance is very important as we need to perform well with some of our key players out. We have not done so well in 08 and 09 at the back end of the season when we succumbed with injuries to key players.

After the progress we have made this season we simply cannot allow this to happen again and it is important even if we are to lose, that we perform well and are competitive.

Panthers may as well not turn up. This game is going to be sooo easy, and now we get the greatest backrower of the past 3 years not playing Origin.

Dave Q, are you capable of serious postings? Back to the burrow for you. That's a good bunny.
