Yeah would be good to see him hang about. Although with Eboue and Hoyte now in the picture it makes it hard.

Also rumours about that Freddy may be on the way out. Another you'd like to see stay, but once again, so many good young players coming through.

plus young Kerrea Gilbert (if he comes back from loan)

i wouldnt be against seeing Ljungberg leave..

one of my favourite players but for the money he is on and the amount of injuries he gets..i wouldnt mind seeing someone else come in for him

Yep agree on both counts. So many good kids it's easy to forget them (Gilbert) lol.

Fred and Pires have been replaced with Hleb and Rosicky. I still think Freddy has enough to offer us, but the dollars he'd be on as opposed to putting say Walcott in there for him is only a short term thing. I'd say he'll go if the money is right and he's happy too. He's the sort of guy that would want to hang around and get his spot back though I think.

Apparently not.

T*tts managed a 0-0 when they travelled to Cardiff.

Think it was Arsenal winning 3-0 when the T*tts travelled to Emirates wasn't it :D

3-1 from memory,

but I was just fishing for a bite

I think you should rest all your big guns in the League Game against City Macca, and concentrate on the Carling and FA Cups!
You don't have to worry about it now :D

The City game has been postponed with the second leg of the CC being on the 31st now.

It's interesting that Liverpools defence doesn't exist :D They have conceded just 3 in 11 league games this season at Anfield only to concede 9 in the past 2 cup games there.

Jol will play some of his youth/fringe players too. The CC is sh*t lol.

yer our reserves players are quiet good there the defending reserve team champions, though I believe Jol might go at full strength if all fit, though I cant see Wenger changing anything from the Liverpool game but thats what i predict for the first game at the Lane if we get a lead then Wenger may change his line up

Hehe, just read this elsewhere -

Why should a reserve team fixture against Sp*rs cause a postponement of a first team fixture against Man City?

Got a point.

FYI -

1st leg - 24th Jan
2nd leg - 31st Jan

So it'll be our youth/fringe players for those 2 ties.

We have bigger games - Man U (league) on the 21st and Bolton (fa cup) on the 28th.

Lively start. I love seeing the confidence of our younger guys knocking it out of their own 3rd. The whole squad from youth to 1st play the same style, it's great to see.

Scappy goal. No talk between Almunia and Toure. It happens when you make changes though. Toure/Lehmann would have dealt with that.

You will in time mate. As I've said all along, it's only the CC. Great for giving kids/fringe players a run out and some experience. So many of our current young 1st teamers have gone that path with great success.

How bad a ref is Poll. No way in the world was that a freekick he gave that led to the own goal.

I'm hoping our guys can settle and knock it round a bit. Enjoy it for a while and not worry about the score. They would have spoke about that.

This is T*tt*nh*ms season, always is the CC :D With the big boys playing weak sides, it gives the likes of them a chance to win something :D

nothing to stop Arsenal from doing the same

it's thier choice not to take it seriously

I wonder how some of their fans feel about that
