Why the hell would he do that?

Sorry, as much as I would love it and Arsenal fans would be screaming about it for months/years if it happens, he is the Arsenal captain. Ditching Arsenal for Tottenham when both teams are duking it out for champions league positions at the moment would be stupid.

Still....

Would be worth every penny just to see the howls from Bunniesderp....

Would Fryers challenge Assou-Ekotto for a starting spot? Is he leaving Manure for his own reasons (more playing time, better opportunity etc) or are they getting rid of him because they don't rate him?

he is BAE's back up

if you read the article his contract expired and we made him an offer which he took because they didn't make him an offer, then when he said he was leaving they made him an offer but ours was higher from what I can gather

not 100% sure but something like that

A bit about Butland for those keen

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Butland

Not a massive fan of young goalkeepers they rarely work out

did some homework on this, we have recently made an offer including loaning him back for a year but deal not done yet

Dan and Co went to France yesterday to speak to Hugo Lloris, no idea how it went

also alot of press regarding Oscar atm, the offer we made was about 3 weeks ago and Internationale never got back to us, so we moved for Siggy instead, just as we signed Siggy they got back to us and want to talk, so does Oscar and he is Sandro's bestie so still may happen but early days, none of these guys are Modric replacements, more like Nikko and Gio replacements

He thought he was worth more than United did.

The fact that he knows where to stand in a defensive structure already puts him one better than Ekotto so he'll have his place by the end of the year. ;-)

we got him for 8mill plus add ons of around 3 mill, how we got him for that I'll never know

so far we've signed Verts and Siggy and sold Corluka and Nikko, total outlay 6.5 mill
