According to Twitter we just agreed to terms with Jamaal Lascelles, 18, from Nottingham Forest.

He's a young Centre Back who was in demand and he'll go straight back out to Nottingham on loan.

The big deal rumoured by one of the other site's posters has apparently fallen through....it was a Real Madrid player too.

My gut feeling says it was Higuain. The main reason being that Real announced on their Facebook about half an hour ago that there is going to be a press conference with him later today.

The other player I think it might have been referring to would have been Di Maria.

EDIT: Well Higs himself just came out and said he can't wait to play with Modric, so I guess it probably wasn't him.

they are in the States and will play Beck's mob on Thursday morning on ESPN

nothing will happen till they all get back on 2nd August although there is talk Levy may not be coming back, he could have up to a year off due to his wife's ill health after he oversees this transfer window, possibly from the States
