How awesome was Modric's cross to set up Keane's chance? Frickin awesome.

Good to see Harry has seen the light and realised that he ain't too small to play in this league. Hes a star and from what ive seen has been great for Spurs in 2009.

Also, Assou-Ekotto >>>>>>>>>> Bale. And that has nothing to do with his goal. Got to give credit to 'Arry for seeing the light on that one. Not to mention some very very smart signings in Palacios and Bassong.

Given their home form i reckon Spurs are a massive chance of a top 5 spot this year. Liverpool are in real danger of finishing outside the top 5 IMO.

Try again.

I was really impressed will Palacios for Spurs, he will have a great season imo. The new strip really grew on me too as I watched the game.

Yeah I hated the kit at first but it kind of grew on me too. Not really a fan of the socks though I liked the striped ones we had last year.

Now to get me a genuine :sarcasm: spurs shirt off ebay...

BAE has always been our No 1 LB, Bale is still only a kid, 20 or so but Harry rates him enough to keep him at WHL.

Keene cold have scored 3 goals and f**ked them all up, 2 at least were sitters.

Basoong was impressive and good to see him playing next to Ledley where he will learn so much, although he'll sit out when Woodgate is fit, then there is Dawson to consider who had a very good year last year. Problem with Woody and King, one is always bound to be injured.

Palacious is our best player imo

Hmmm, im not going to entirely rule out the possiblilty of Tottenham doing a Valencia/Wolfsburg and do the unthinkable by winning the title.

Still 20-1 but not impossible given the vulnerability of the top 4. Manu - no Ronaldo, Liverpool - being Liverpool, Chelsea - very old, Arsenal - very young.

With quality and depth all over the park and just about the best home record in the league this year i seriously wouldnt rule it out.

Hey like i said, i'd still put it at 20-1; but the ingredients are there. Four quality central defenders, excellent first-choice left and right backs, one of the most dominant central midfielders in the league (Palacios), two very dangerous attacking mids in Modric and Lennon and three very proven goal scorers in the EPL.

The likes of Huddlestone, O'Hara and Jenas round out an impressive group of youngsters as well. The only worry is Gomes.

Let me just state now then that im picking Spurs to finish above Man Utd. Everyone can feel free to bring this back up and laugh at me at seasons end if im wrong.

But the key stats are that Spurs are nigh on unbeatable at home, have a very impressive record against the top 4 (none of who have beaten Spurs at home this year or last season) and a very stable manager.

And for the record, i hate Spurs and would much rather even the Arse win the league (wouldn't go far as Chelsea tho!) but they're looking mightily impressive even if it is early.

Still wouldn't beat Wednesday, though...

I love it when folks get all excited and confident about Spurs.. It means a f*ck up is just around the corner.. Seeing that happen against the Hammers this weekend will make my week. (Although seeing Burnley beat Manure has already done that)

I doubt West Ham will be as poor as Hull were, hopefully it's a much better game to watch then that rubbish we saw in China a short while ago.

Looking forward to a good game and trying to be gracious in victory at games end :D
