Toy Story 3 opens tomorrow in Australia and I am quite amazed with the reception the film has had

98% rating on Rotten Tomatoes
http://beta.rottentomatoes.com/m/toy_story_3/

9.1 critic rating
9.7 user rating on Metacritic
http://www.metacritic.com/film/titles/toystory3

Is already at #8 on IMDB Top 250 Films of All Time
http://www.imdb.com/chart/top?tt0435761

And at #18 on RYM on Top Films of All Time
http://rateyourmusic.com/films/chart

I don't usually go to the cinema (have yet to go this year) but I am seriously thinking of going to see this, especially since there isn't really any 'summer' movies I am ultra keen on seeing this year.

Anyone seen it yet?

Haven't seen it yet but Toy Story 1 and 2 are far and away the greatest animated movies of all time so would be surprised if this was anything but awesome.

I saw the first one while on a plane in America somewhere...maybe 1996/97???

I shyte you not, I was the only one laughing.

I now have a 4 1/2 yr old son who is toy story mad.
We are going ( I dunno who is more keen , him or me ) .

He asked if he can wear his buzz lightyear costume.

still too young to care about fashion...gotta love it.

Toy Story 1 and 2 are brilliant. Love them both. I am sure number 3 will be just as good and I am keen as hell to see it.

All my nieces and nephews are in their late teens and early tweentys now, so I can't borrow one to make it look like they're the reason I'm going.

just ask a random mother who is in line for tickets if you can sit with her and her kids....

I'm sure they'd be cool with it

Apparently this movie is a real tear jerker... grown men are crying. I can't figure out why. It's animation. Did anyone here cry when Maud Flanders died?
