I just guessed. I think a lot comes down to luck early on, till we see what peoples tactics are, and even then its still luck...

The tipping is a bit of fun (Also helps you keep track of the opposition form).

I think we are just tipping the teams winning the matches, not counting the start? (It's a pleasant diversion and best to keep it as simple as possible.)

That way there is no probs tipping against your team - since you may get close enough with the start to win the all important coaches point without winning the match itself.

that would make sense - otherwise people could attempt to, as you said, attempt to win the coaches point, without winning the match itself.

yep id top beat beats bottom team by a feild goals then whoever tipped the top team gets the points for the tipping comp. no matter how weel the loseing team did inregard to the start.
