Wes Welker's blessed run continues, goes from catching passes from Brady to Peyton for the next 2 seasons.

@ChrisWesseling: Welker will earn $6M/year, which beats Reggie Wayne's $5.8M but falls shy of Brian Hartline's $6.1M.

also DT Terrence Knighton & MLB Stewart Bradley > Broncos

Pollard released by Ravens. I would love for him to land even for a season with the Eagles

agreed
Im pleased the eagles didnt pay 40 million for Goldson, but Pollard would be a great get!

Welker for only 6million?
Surely worth the pats hanging on to? Oh well, will be interesting to see if the Pats come against the Broncos this year in the play offs... what's the bet Welker doesnt drop a single pass in that game

Kerry Rhodes has been released too. Pollard at SS, Rhodes at FS would go ok short term, maybe 1-2 years... Keep Colt Anderson and Nate Allen as back ups. Draft a guy inside the top 3 rounds and let them 5 fight it out for 4 spots

Lose one receiver, add another: Patriots reach agreement in principle on five-year deal with former Ram Danny Amendola, per league source.

Wow...Cliff Avril to the Seahawks and the NFC West is just getting better and better and better and the Rams are losing their shit.

Avril & Clemons with Irvin as rotational player...scary.

Seahawks are scary good. It's become a two tier competition with some teams moving to another level and teams like the Jags, Raiders and Chargers going in reverse.

Avril doesn't scare me, never given us any problems.

He liked playing in that wide 9 in Detroit and getting some sacks, but he's not a particularly physical player. I don't think he fits that Seattle defense

we need to for now, we need to stay the f**k away from inflated free agency contracts and just draft really well, so in a few years time, we finally have some cap space and guys starting to hit their stride. right now we arent even close to a playoff team, so I like what Reggie is doing.
