i cant remember who we played but there was one try that he scored and started carrying on like a looney as if he just one us the grand final.he runs hard but tackles about as good as joel caine.remember him?

I don't think turner would have made it as a center. As for saying Turner won't displace slater. You are kidding right? Have you seen slater under a high ball. As wobbly as a car with three wheels. Turner will make it to fullback for the storm and slater will get pushed into the centers.

As for letting elford and hicks go, I'm not so concerned as I didn't really see hicks displacing lewis or rooney and elford...well a good player but we have talent to burn in the centers. But most importantly it frees up room under the salary cap to help us retain players like priddis and gulavao when their off contract next season.
