Rivers is the man.

Edwards is a better QB than Cutler, but Cutler has the ability to be far better.

People have to remember that Trent has only played 15 games where as Rivers has been in the league for about 4 years? and Cutler atleast 3, Trents progression is better then both, that's my point.

Trent has the better intelligence and mechanics then both imo, i'd rather take that then a strong arm.

I'd love to see how well Trent would go with a decent tight end and another gun reciever.

Isn't this a post about Cutler and Edwards?
If your going to bring Rivers into the conversation what about Big Ben a SuperBowl winner and Eli a SuperBowl MVP.
Both Cutler and Edwards are young up and coming QB's but Cutler will suffer a bit with the Broncos poor defence this year, they won't make the playoffs, the Chargers will come out on top.
Edwards has a good balanced team around him a solid defense, offensive line and a good RB. The addition of LB Kawika Mitchell has made a big difference to the Bills this year.

Mitchell has been great, however i think Stroud was still the best buy.

Our line is still struggling, our run has been pretty average actually.

San Diego are still a great side and will be there in the playoffs.

imagine what edwards could do with a pass catching te and a more legitimate 2nd receiver to pair with lee evans

Absolutely, been saying it all along!

If rookie James Hardy can step up either this year or next then one problem will be solved.

hardy was meant to be a big target this year. 6'6 i believe, but hes taking longer to develop than they thought
should target brandan pettigrew or travis beckum in the draft to solve their te woes

Your right, I didn't understand why the Jags let Stroud go he is very soild.
I thought Trent Edwards played real well last year as a rookie and am not surprised that he has continued on with it this year.

Stroud is more than solid...... Coughlin set that team up (JAX) so that they could worry about playing the pass as Henderson and Stroud would take care of the run.

Good effort by Cutler on Thursday night. 3 TDs in the 4th qtr to come from behind for a win on the road, with only a fullback for a running threat. Way to go Jay.

yeh nice effort but at the same time the Browns D didnt help out their new QB who also had a great game which has obviously been overshadowed. Winslow was good but made a couple handling errors as well

Jay Cutler's latest thoughts:
Friday, Broncos third-year quarterback Jay Cutler was asked if his arm is stronger than Favre's.

"Yeah, I think so," Cutler told the Denver media while laughing. "What is Brett? Is he 40 yet? Thirty-nine, soon to be 40? I think he may have given me a run back in his 20s, but I think I got him now."
