The "city" part of town is starting to die anyway. There's got to be a lot more investmenting from corporations if this "city" is ever going to act like a city. Need more jobs. Better property for business sectors etc. etc.
Tate is making it happen, but there's still a long way to go.
BTW, the Gold Coast will be overtaking us in the population stakes very soon if it hasn't already. All the old folkes and migrant workers love it there.
Anyway, Salkeld is a good buy. Young isn't up to it and O'Davis is showing his age. Should be a good battle in reserve grade now for the first grade spot but I'll lay my money on this guy. Michael "I wanna be Glen Frendo" Young needs to get involved a lot more.
On a side note, Andrew Hickey will announce his signing with Western Suburbs tomorrow. From wooden spooners to minor premiers! Good on you, mate!
