Parramatta will more than likely be represented by all 3 nations:

Australia: Nathan Hindmarsh
New Zealand: Nathan Cayless
Great Britain: Chris Thorman

I'd be surprised if Thorman got a go. Hindmarsh and Cayless for sure though. Shame there aren't others joining them though.

Thorman would be the perfect 18th man for Great Britain, he's had heaps of experience in that position with us ;-)

ATE,

i was thinking that too, i would imagine that Danny McGuire will be no 6 for GB and Sean Long or Paul Deacon or someone would be no 7, but Thorman may well make the bench as an interchange player and will most certainly make the squad purely on his experience playing first grade in the NRL

Thorman won't make the GB team/squad this time around imo. There are some other guys in the halves like Richard Horne, Iestyn Harris that have edged ahead of Thorman for that bench spot he might have grabbed, had he stayed around in ESL this year.

Whilst I can see Thorman's potential, I don't think his performances this season in NRL (9 games) will have earnt him any added advantage amongst GB selectors. I think it'll be another two years before he gets to that rep stage.

he may not be in the selectors minds if thye have not seen him for a season

and if they did see him, I cant see him being thier first choice half back

According to the SMH Cannings could be picked for NZ.

I want to see Fui get picked aswell with all the recent "retirements" it could happen.

and don't forgot on the Aussies way home from the Tri-Nations they are stopping over in New York where Muzza will play for the USA

Aussies will win the Tri-Nations because we are the World Champions. Philips, you are a World Champion GOOSE after that statement!

Danny McGuire won't be in the staring lineup and will be lucky to be on the bench. The guy can't defend and that will cost him big time (although Noble is coach  ).

Australia Will be far too good in this trinations, but i think after this series the retirements in the NZ squad will help them (They need new blood bad.).

Who here thinks the poms will pick the same duds as last year, no hopers like McDermott, Connolly, Radlinksi, Newton and who could forget Farrell.

In last years series the only players that impressed me where Fielden, Deacon, Senior, Gleeson, and Brian Carney. Hope theyre all playing in the tri series.

damn farrell actually has skill which is rare for a pom. i think having australia in the tri nations ruins the watching experience becuase the result is a foregone conclusion. i say chuck someone like the west tigers in to represent australia.

I think leaving McGuire out would be insane
