f**king amazing to see that prick denied a try.

Just awesome to have the footy back. Mamo is just plain phenomenal and will rip it up in the 9's. Certainly worth going.

Good to see some of the young guys get a run, and impress at that. Here's my take:

Sione reminds me a bit of George Taufua in style, only seen him in this match though.

What did you guys think of Dobson? A couple of neat touches, but I don't realistically see him pushing Tyrone for a starting spot.

Losing Kev as backup might be that little bit easier to deal with after seeing Mamo tonight, I can see him doing well filling in for our wingers. Minto looks a handy backup for Boyd too, at least in offence - haven't seen him under the high ball or defending yet.

Tapine could really looks the goods and could certainly end up the hole running backrower we have been missing - if not this year than soon.

Sims and Tets will certainly be able to do the job in first grade off the bench. Wouldn't be surprised if at least one of them is pushing for the second starting gig come seasons end.

For mine Waddell is probably 4th choice hooker, Clydesdale isn't the only one that has passed him, redman is better too.

No use counting chickens just yet, the opposition wasn't great. There were plenty of positives to take out though given we only had two or three starters in the side

Definitely liked what I saw of Tapine tonight. Reckon he could easily push for a FG spot at some point this year. Ran a beautiful line for his second try

Mamo showed some signs to prove what I said about him being the best back we've seen in a long time, everyone has been excited about him for a few years now and he's still only 19. In the air he's easily one of the best in the NYC and one of the biggest try scorers, he's lightning and tough as any first grader. I think he showed all those attributes tonight.

Tapine lived up to his expectations too, he's been the go to go since joining the club, always finds a hole and always works his ass off for his teammates, these 2 kids will debut by mid-year without a doubt.

Sione has been a star all through the grades, making and captaining all the junior reps sides, hard to believe he's only 16-17 but he's been playing up in grades for years now, before we got Minto he was being primed to skip the NYC and go straight into fullback for NSW Cup, he had a nice first quarter, packed with power and skill.

But doesn't Minto look good, been training at fullback all pre-season, going out to that right edge is exactly what he's been practicing and he pulled off 2 try assists from it and a try himself. Great game by everyone even though it was against not the best team. Wasn't impressed with Vaivai gotta say.

He didn't seem too involved. Would have liked to see him hit the line with a bit of momentum.

Hard to bring down though and showed a bit of footwork. Was certainly outshone by Sims and Tets.

Agree with others, Newton was pretty ordinary. Definitely should be behind Taupine in the pecking order for mine - which should keep him a fair way away from first grade. Reggies bench next to Waddell sounds about right

We looked fantastic in the 1st and 3rd quarter when Roberts was on running the show. Lost our way a bit without him there.

I am glad we didn't field a stronger side cos it was a great hit out for the kids. I am more confident in our junior depth this year. Mamo will have Aku looking over his shoulder all season.
