I'd say Matt Wright will be 5/8 and someone will fill in on the wing.
It would be very strange for Matt to be on the wing as he hasn't trained there at all in the pre season.

Had planned on making the trek to Muswellbrook but in the end didn't make it. So I can't comment on how much of a run key players had nor how they looked.

Although we didn't get a win in either trial I am not bothered.

The players have had a couple of hit outs and the best news is there is no major injuries to report so we have come through unscathed.

The competition starts in a fortnight and that's when everyone should be critical to how the team is functioning.

Till then the usual Flanno snipers can snipe away.

Funny thing is most of the Flanno snipers thought coming second last the past two years was a great achievement.

Couldn't capitalize on opportunities created, and I guess, that was the difference between us and Newcastle, they did.
The try just before half time would of been easily avoided had Stapleton not had a lazy attempt at getting the ball.
But he knocked on, they scored, and sh*t happens.

The second half, we were subbing players in and out of the game, and still producing sh*tty errors. They younger inexperienced guys like Brod Wright looked very rusty.
If Josh Cordoba never plays for the Sharks again it will be too soon!

Seems when we had our First Grade side on in both trials this year we were certainly competitive. That's all I need to know to be satisfied that things with the team aren't the disaster as many are trying to state.
