Troy`s NFL Analysis Week 9

I had a lukewarm week of 9-5, forgot I picked
Kanell and company to pull out a "gutty win" yikes!!
Anyway let's get back on track this week and try to
get something going, and how about those BENGALS!!!
Feels good to not have to call them Bungles anymore,
Jon Kitna is the #3 rated passer in the NFL. :D Go
Marvin Lewis!! NOT. Oh Yeah, there was the whole matter of
this 200 million dollar kid LeBron James who's 18 yrs
old making his first start for the Cavaliers last
night. Anyway, I think he'll fit right in 25 pts 9
assists not a bad start for a guy who never played a
second of college ball, perhaps he may be the real
deal, that remains to be seen, I still think any 18
year old with 200 million don't deserve it. Now my
picks.....

Carolina at Houston: Well I went against the Panthers
last week given the rebirth of the Saints offense, but
Stephen Davis continues to be the force that drives
that offense and carried them to another overtime win
thanks to John Kasay. However this week they'll have
to get it done against that Texan secondary cuz they
are not going to let Stephen Davis beat them, this
worked well for the Titans expect it to work well for
the new Houston team. Expect the wrong Davis to loom
large in this one.
Final Score 24-13 Houston.

Indianapolis at Miami: Dolphins have been searching
for that elusive opportunity to put up a win that
would establish them as a legitimate contender, this
would be the opportunity. If their corners can
match-up well and limit their production in the air, I
know the front 7 has EJ licked. Expect a tight game
with Griese at the helm making some plays in the air
early to open up Ricky Williams' game. The fun and
gun in Florida? Noooooooo?!
Final Score 23-20 Miami.

Jacksonville at Baltimore: As inconsistent as the
Ravens have been this year, I'm very interested in
giving my upset special to the Jags, but I think Jamal
Lewis should establish his game early and have the
Jags defense chasing him all game long. Looks like a
winner, Eddie George got 100 and 2 scores last week
this should be an ongoing trend for a Jag defense that
simply couldn't stop a leaky faucet from running.
Final Score 34-23 Baltimore.

New Orleans at Tampa Bay: Well I couldn't be happier
that Brooks and company roll into Tampa after a shut
out cuz given the trend this is where the Bucs defense
looks really bad again!! I'll take it, sounds like a
good deal. Buccaneers haven't been able to stop Aaron
Brooks for two straight season, this will continue
this weekend. Saints offense will strike quickly
early on and put a chink into the Buccs ground game.
Final Score 31-14 New Orleans.

N.Y. Giants at N.Y. Jets: Well I thought a lot of bad
things about the G-Men going into that Viking game. I
saw that they had little to no heart, let two games
get away on late collapses, and an offensive line with
3 rookies couldn't stop Kate Moss from hitting the
refrigerator HAHA.... Anyhow last week they overcame the
noise at the dome, Luke Petigout a 4 year vet with the
team drew the only penalty on the o-line that whole
game. They showed poise in the fourth quarter and
made sure to PUT ONE AWAY! So now I feel like they're
two special team miscues from being 5-2 instead of 3-4
ships turning again, love these late season rallies
from Jim Fassel. Jets are dog meat no running game
for C-Mart today.
Final Score 30-13 NY Giants.

Oakland at Detroit: Man the Lions are so bad!! I
though they had a little something to play for but
they just fall apart week after week, and don't expect
them to get in on all this ground action against the
Raiders, cuz every time I think Bryson has a chance he
lays an egg. Been fantasy baller kryptonite for 3
years now. Anyway I think the Lions will make it
interesting but the Raiders offense should finally
open it up with a healthy Jerry Porter and look like
the old superbowl contenders they used to be.
Final Score 38-10 Oakland.

San Diego at Chicago: Law of averages says somebody
has to win this. Bears defense has played admirably
to this point scoring a couple of wins here lately,
but this trend can't continue. Without an offense,
nothing they do to LaDainian Tomlinson will stop the
Chargers from routing them here. We'll finally get to
the Chargers we've been wanting all year long.
Final Score 30-6 San Diego.....Superchargers!!

Cincinnati at Arizona: Oh boy, don't look like
Kitna's coming down this week either, man if he's a
free agent in your fantasy league BUY BUY BUY!!! He's
the hottest commodity in the NFL right now. Expect
the Cards to fold in on themselves and maybe some late
ground game for Corey Dillon finally as the Bengals
should have this in hand early.
Final Score 34-13 Cincinnati BENGALS BENGALS BENGALS!!! .500 WOO!LOL

Pittsburgh at Seattle: Steelers offense really came
to life a bit last week, just that they've really
lacked a ground game. Without Chad Brown who's a huge
part of that Seattle pass rush, the Bengals pulled out
a late win, this won't happen two weeks in a row.
Seahawks are a legitimately good football team and can
win games outside then NFC West. Steelers should show
pride, but they won't win.
Final Score 30-28 Seattle.

Philadelphia at Atlanta: Michael Vick's big return??
Dan Reeves has bagged out Vick all week long about his moaning
how he can`t play and doesn`t want to, I for one say Vick
will play finally and get Dan Reeves off the ground for #200.
Could be, the Eagles knocked them out of the playoffs
last year, I like late surprises... Just in case of
that eventuality, even without it I think this Falcon
offense will come off the bye, and keep Donovan McNabb
under scrutiny with a big game for Patrick Kerney.
Expect Keith Brooking and the gang to stop this Philly
ground game and make McNabb throw the ball. Should be
fun.
Final Score 23-16 Atlanta.

St. Louis at San Francisco: This is about when the
49ers show up and surprise us with a big game. Down
and out, cream the Bucks but then miss all sorts of
kicks in a special teams toilet bowl and lose to the
CARDINALS?!!! In overtime. hmmmm. I think they got a
surprise in store for the Rams. Faulk comes back, but
the Niners put together a ground game and shock the
Rams.
Final Score 26-20 San Francisco.

Washington at Dallas: This should be an interesting
test of the confidence of the Dallas offense. They're
coming off an embarassing crush job from the Buccs D
and now have to reprove themselves. Thus the start of
the cowboys demise. Expect Ladell Betts to carry the
load for the Redskins and put a dent into this Dallas
front. Ramsey will be on key and make a few plays as
the Cowboys lose two straight and finally doubt will
resonate in Valley Ranch.
Final Score 16-13 Washington.

Green Bay at Minnesota: Did I mention that the
Vikings aren't bad yet YET....they will be!. The worst
thing that could've happened for the
Packers was the Giants pissing off and embarassing
what has thus far been a good Vikings secondary. But....
It'll be a rough night for going over the middle BOTH SIDES!!!, the
only solace for the pack lays in the legs of Ahman
Green, as the vikes running D held fair to moderately
against the Giants, if they think go after Favre or
stop the pass they will leave a wide open defense for
Ahman Green.
Final Score 24-20 Green Bay.

New England at Denver: Do the Pats EVER catch a break
when it comes to Denver. Man bad shit always happens
to the Patriots there, I don't know why but it's a bad
omen to come to Denver, especially on a Monday Night.
I think Broncos will shy away from the George thing
for one more week give Kanell another shot and see if
he can play mistake free and just give Portis a chance
to win. I think Elam gets them out of here with a
late FG.
Final Score 27-24 Denver.
