Just had a look at the map. Might be worth contemplating a 'Test' or friendly International between Turkey and Lebanon (domestic players only).

Off topic. I dont know if the RLIF is just now becoming more active in promoting international development or if im only just noticing, but it is great work by them...

Great to see. But.......

What are the odds of a spilt in the governing body or Union banning their players playing league in the next 6 months?

I think it is likely....

RL need to try to grow quickly, establish clubs (or convert RU clubs), get links in government and establish strong competitions (the Balkans SL is a brilliant start, very clever to begin with an inclusive title that allows for a big, multi-national comp).

Basically, get to the point where, if RU does put a ban on RL, players would rather to be banned....

Yeah that Balkan Super League could really be the key to enticing countries to start comps and being able to maintain them.

One of the greatest success stories of 2018!

1) Massive increase in playing numbers (men and women)
2) A visible improvement in standard of play, proven by the success of Kadikoy Bulls in BSL.
3) Successfully establishing links with the Turkish community in Australia, playing well at ENWC and drawing good support from the Sydney-based Turks.

I expect them to go deep into the WC 2025 qualifiers, and maybe even qualify, especially if they can get Sezer and Guler on board to play! Well done Turkey, keep up the great work!
