Do you think the Footy would have out-rated 60 minutes if it had been live around Australia..??

It would have rated even less at 7.30 in my opinion because the wife and kids in each household prefer to watch Australian Idol, and it is hard to justify the footy in a match that was forgone conclusion before a ball was kicked...

Do you think the Footy would have out-rated 60 minutes if it had been live around Australia..??

Aus v England a few weeks ago rated higher than 60 minutes in both Sydney and Brisbane despite being on delay till 11pm.

The contract should have stipulated the games been shown live in QLD, NSW and Vic.

The only reason they delayed it was to stretch the ratings potential out to 11pm in the hope of winning the night and putting as many ads in as possible.

If Nine had the rights to the Bledisloe or a big AFL match on Sunday night they would have done exactly the same thing had they been allowed to which was the case with the RLWC.
