So i hear and good luck to them they have shown a lot of the heartlands clubs how to run a sports clubWhen they finally return to Lamport it could pretty much be to do an 8 week victory lap. They are looking good
I'd way rather see Toulouse go up than Wolfpack, but let's see what happens.
Can I ask why?
Because I believe they have a much better chance of long-term survival than the Wolfpack, as they've grown organically over the years and have a majority local squad, stark contrast to the Wolfpack.
I don't know why, but I notice anyone who does not show complete unconditional love for Wolfpack get met with a bit of hostility, both here and on other forums. I know you've only asked the question 'why?' at this stage, but I'm just pre-empting some heat here from yourself and others on here.
I will be honest I haven’t seen a lot of super league since fox lost the rights to the EPL. I just couldn’t justify the cost to watch a game of SL a week, which is realistically all I had time for.
I have been watching a bit of Toronto on the internet when I get a chance though and they look really good for that league. I have no doubt they’re good enough to give some of the lower SL sides a game.
I by no means want Catalans to go down but they seem to be a basket case, if they don’t go down this year there’s nothing I can see that suggests they won’t be in this situation again next season.
London is the expansion side I have the biggest concern with, I just don’t see it taking off in the capital.

I am looking forward to the Middle 8s more than anything else this season, because there's a real possibility 2 teams go up. London were looking good until a few weeks ago, they seem to really have fallen off the pace, but Wolfpack and Toulouse look really good on their days.
Those bottom SL teams are so inconsistent too, should they happen to have an off day, then literally any of the top 4 Championship teams are capable of beating them. Should be a real dogfight. I really hope Catalans survive though, their crowds have been fantastic despite being dead last.
I would love to see the Toulouse-Catalans Middle 8s match played at the 19,000-seat Stade Ernest Wallon too!
Regarding London, I'm still at a loss to explain how they have survived their post-SL years. Who is funding them? They are averaging crowds of less than 1000, in one of the most expensive cities in the world, yet kept the full-time squad and academy going. Good for them I suppose.

Right, well God bless him then, as I'm sure he's not getting a return on his investment.
