He reminds me of Benji minus the arrogance.

In what way? Tbo I find them very different types of players. Marshall is a so so defender. Roberts is a quality defender. Marshall has a big step that puts him in space. Roberts step is nothing impressive, but his show and go work well. Roberts has safe hands, Marshall drops the ball all the time.

He did throw some nice passes and put on a few good plays down that left edge as well out of DH. However I thought his delivery was a bit slow at stages.

The one two punch of Roberts and Clydesdale seems to be working well as we don't lose anything when they swap over really. Roberts seems like he has a natural ability to play hooker and there is no point changing a winning combination.

My feeling is we keep Gids at halfback next year, play Jack Cogger a year up in Holden cup and hopefully by 2016 he'll be ready to challenge Tyrone for the 7 jumper.
Cogger and Brock Lamb are the future for us in terms of halves

This is what i love most about the Knights.

They may forever be shit, but at least theres always some new amazing prospect just a years or two away...

Don't rate Feeney?

Feeney strikes me as someone who could make it but might take a year or two in NSW cup to iron out the chinks in his game, abit like a Peter Wallace or Trent Hodkinson. Cogger from what I've seen and heard is abit of a prodigy, or has been in the juniors anyway.

Before he ran away, roobilly2 was blowing his load over Tom Rouse. If I recall correctly, he said that when Rouse was around the ball "shit happened", or something to that effect.

Pretty sure he was a Scott Dureau fanboi too

Franze, there's a name. He played a fair bit of fg in the centers for Cronulla didn't he? If it's the guy I'm thinking of, he never was much chop. Slow as hell.

He was a star in the knights lower grade, pretty sure he made junior kangaroos, went to Cronulla and had a good rookie year, second year he tore his ACL and was never the same again, he was a bloke who was powerfully built for a centre back then and although not blessed with blistering pace was quick enough, after he done his knee he looked like a shadow of the player he was previously. I remember Chris Anderson poached 2 of our best juniors in 2002, Franze was one and the other was Greg Bird

Roopy use to blow his load over every 2nd junior that came through the ranks. Rouse was a bloke who never particularly stood out except for a 6 or 7 game stretch in SG Ball when the team won the comp. Rouse was named player of the year but Kurt Mann was by far the better player.
In regards to Dureau, to be fair there were games where he looked like a star but he his defence was rubbish and he had too many deficiencies in his game.
I see Feeney as abit of a Dureau type, the next few years will determine whether he has aScott Dureau type career or a Trent Hodkinson type career

All i know about Feeney is that he is (or was) a tradie, getting up at like 4 or 5 in the morning to work, before training in the afternoon, or something to that effect...

The kid is definitely commited.

Is this that Jack Cogger you lot were talking about, and if so, how the balls did he get into the U20 SOO side?!?! isnt he like 17...

He didn't make the 20's side, he's only in his first year of SG Ball, he was 18th man for NSW under 18's and made Australian schoolboys last week. Sione Mata'utia did make the NSW under 20's side this year as a 17 year old though
