Tyson Gamble

I've watched Tyson since his early days at Redcliffe and always saw a quality footballer in him. I think he was a victim of being in 2 struggling clubs (Brisbane, Wests) early in his career and wasnt really given much of a chance to thrive in a good environment

From all ive read and listened to, he seems to have been really taken with Newcastle and he and his partner have fallen in love with the town and the fans to the degree that he plans to stay in there post footy. It really shows in his attitude on the field and the fun he is having, so much so that he no longer needs to be the "mouthy grub" anymore

Super happy for the bloke

Gotta commend our recruitment for this year. They've all positively impacted us in ways we needed to get our team to the next level - especially attitude wise. Hetherington you could say is the questionable one but even then he appears to be getting better.

I remember being excited about Gamble's signing and once again few were. He was a positive at the Broncos in the opportunities he got the past 2 years.

I just knew he was the right fit and right attitude we needed for our team. I'm glad to have been proven right. Also I'm not saying he's perfect by any means, but he's been a huge contributor to our success and fun this year.

Jackson Hastings is another “bad boy come good.”

He never wanted to leave the tigers, but the way it all happened was a joke and he’s still extremely popular amongst us.

Weve all been following him a bit.

Someone on the forum met him ( forumer wearing a tigers jersey) recently and apparently he was as nice as can be.

All very high brow and good for footy.

Hastings and Gamble are the halves combination for the team which has scored the most tries in the comp. It the club is still looking to sign a star five-eighth, it’s time to stop. By all means if a kid in the system takes his jersey, fair game, but Gamble gives us everything we need at a bargain price. Use the money we would spend on a star 6 to try and snare someone like Mo Fotuaika.

They do exactly what we need. Get the ball to our dangerous outside backs and kick it out of our end when needed or for our backs in attacking position.

Lol, outside of Ponga they're probably the lowest paid spine, I'll grant Willie that much. Especially if you throw Clune into the mix this week instead of Hastings.
