Well, what have you people who took Echols at short odds got to say for your selves now?
You got swept up in the hype didnt you?
Yer, you heard he had shrapnel in him, you heard he was a bad boy and you rushed in but what did you really know about him?
NOTHING!
I took into account that he hadn`t fought since 2001...Thats why i took Mundine......Its a long lay off for Echols......RING RUST mean any thing to you people?
I also took into account that he had to fly all the way from Florida TWICE any body thats flown knows what it does to you PLUS he had to adjust to OUR time which meant no sleep!
Any one that took Echols to beat Mundine at a short $1.50 is a fool!
Antwun Echols is like Donavon razor ruddock he only looks for the one punch.
He doesnt have an arsenal or an array of punches, wouldnt know what combinations were if his life depended on it, just throw your BIG right and hope for the best....So predictable.
See, there`s 2 kinds of fighters an two kinds of fans in the boxing game.
There`s your Tysons Echols & Judahs an there`s your Lewis`s Holyfields & De Le Hoya`s...Ones a slugger looking for that one punch while the other shows sweet science.
Same as the fans, some want blood broken noses & Brawls but some wanna watch the sweet science the entire 12 rounds (Mainly the trainers)
Theres your Boxers and your brawlers in the boxing game an the brawlers would be better off contesting for Tough man competitions in Vegas an down south.
Real boxers bore your britches off.
If you wanna watch real boxers then watch Thai fighters an skinny Mexicans even amueturs an Olympians they`ll go all day, me, personally i find it boring some times so i guess im into slugger fights all out war, sort of.
See, what they did with Echols was beef his character up with all this bad boy sh*t an any body that fell for it is a fool.
He put up a front thats what he did.
He thought that him having been shot would win him the fight, oh, what like thats suppose to scare me?
I dont care if you`ve been stabbed, shot, gone to the moon, survived the holocaust ALL that means nothing once inside the ring.
Ive seen scary guys come to the ring looking all mean an sh*t tatooed from head to toe ex-cons an once they get in the ring an take a few to the face you soon see their faces turn from angry scary guys into cowards with a look of fear.
Just take a look at some of Frank Bruno`s old fights...he always came to the ring trying to be scary but once in it and realisation hit him his faced turned completely and you could see the fear in his eye.....its all about intimidation.
Me, i hate people yelling at me.....if you yell at me and raise your voice i cower thats my weakness but if i can over come that which i rarely do i`ll beat you.
I just cant control my fears you know?

Take it from me, i know what im talking about, ive fought the great fighters, ive been in with the best and beat them convincingly.
Ive beat a long list of fighters, on world circuits to.
Ive beat Gabby Jay, Bear Hugger, Piston Honda, Bob Charlie, Soda popsinski, Bald bull, The Great Tiger, Mad clown, Mr Sandman, Heike Kagero, Dragon chan, Masked muscle, Hoy Quarlow, Aran Ryan from Ireland, Super macho man Narcis prince and the 2 Bruiser brothers Rick & Nick.
Heck, i even beat Mike Tyson in round 2 on the original Nintendo and i wasn`t even using the game genie.
