Unbelievable Tiger Fans

I have to tell you guys that reading these threads in your forum, I have developed so much respect for you Tiger fans.

Time after time there seems to be a kick in the guts, yet you guys stand solid.

No doubt most wish to see change at the club management and coaching staff, like you most other fans are astonished at what's going on, however seeing most come to the Sharks forum with congrats and all that, shows just what a great bunch of blokes you are.

I am not sure we could be so gracious, but I can tell you we know what's its like to go through so much negativity and frustration.

I wish you blokes the very best and hope the rebuilding sees a strong side back on the park that brings some joy to you guys.

Old Tigers/Magpies fans are used to losing so if we lose players and its to the Sharks we really don't carry grudges.

Deep down though I personally feel the players we are letting go are being replaced internally by superior players.

Gibbs - Woods
Hino- Sironen
Fifita - Pettybourne
Ryan - Korobiete

The problem is culture, coaching and recruitment as the only positives are through junior development.

I am not saying it should matter, but Beau is tight with Benji as well, yet he gets flicked, Bryce Gibbs and Robbie Farah are good mates, yet it didn't save Gibbsy. Both put their heart and soul into every game and show the club great loyalty and Humpty Dumpty flicks them.

Compare that to Timmy who runs away from bombs and never puts his body on the line, he agrees to sign elsewhere but then has a change of heart and the powers that be will all of a sudden put the clubs image and their reputation on the line just to bring him back, and when he disappoints on his return they still flick others in favour of him.

Since the Wests Tigers merger, this was the most frustrating season to watch as a fan without going into too much detail IMO.

I liked watching the Sharks play this year, a solid first half of the year and to be fair dropped off in 2nd half, but I believe they have a bright future for sure, with yet another few strong signings.

So far all three of our boys that you've taken (Collis an exception) went on to better things and I have no doubt that Ryan and Heighington will too.

Our biggest losses over the past couple of years have been the ones we've had little to no control over - Lui and(for next year) Ellis.

We shouldn't have let Gibbs go either, but the others? Meh.

I'm sure Collis would have gone onto bigger and better things had the Sharkies had decent halves back when he first signed.
