Pickerd?

Don't tell me someone at the Sharks has learnt to bullshyte properly!

2 posters now report Pickerd as a scorer and everywhere last week had him half buried

Now we find out Gards is playing

I like proper ducks and drakes

Maybe let them have a dig at a premiership in the 20's. "Promoting" any of them to the NRL side might damage them permanently, actually I'd take it as a relegation.

they are a great team and I thoroughly enjoy watching them. Pickerd, once he grows, will be special. Mill is ready to go. Peachey too. They have the confidence and the skill. Frizell is a freak and Townsend is finally starting to reach his potential. If they don't start giving these guys a go in firsts, they will be gone before you know it.

One of them is already sitting on an offer from a frontrunning club

Well, sarcasm aside. Wright and his fans can't even claim that after tonights abomination.

His kick returns in this game were more flacid than an octogenarians wang

Yep, the only thing he was good at he wasn't so good at tonight.

Then he misses a sitter goal to put us 14 up, I reckon we win from there, even we wouldn't f**k it up.

Of you want to see how player from under 20's go then souths are the perfect example.

Clark, tyrell, peats, McQueen, Roberts all seem to be decent graduates yet people on here think are using the too young card ffs...wake up fluffys

I know this is a different era and there is no way I am comparing the two, but how old was ET when he made his debut and then when he cemented a 1st grade spot?

Just askin!

And another thought - back when I was coaching in local footy we would select an U19 player to sit on the 1st grade bench every week. He would probably get 15 minutes or so. We would rotate this arrangement between the players we thought had the goods to pay 1st grade. By the end of the season and certainly the following year several of those players became regulars in the 1st grade team.

I know local 1st grade footy is down a bit in quality and intensity etc from the NRL but the NYC players are up on the our local 19s so I think this evens it out fairly well.

If we the clown in charge doesn't start giving our young players a go we will lose them to other clubs. f**k me it's not as if we have anything to lose in the credibility stakes.

Put Mills on the wing. Rotate Peach and Frizzell on the bench. Give Townsend a shot at 1/2 - he cannot be any worse than those that have been there so far this year or last year for that matter. The 5/8 in NYC might also be worth a shot. I'd also be giving Vave, Clayton and Grubb a look at the bench - again, nothing to lose.

Why not, Coastal Shark. As we're not winning games they can't do any worse than the current incumbents. Could identify a player who could handle it.
