friday nites attack against the dogs was i think in the same class as cronulla's we could only manage one or two line breaks, trying to score tries from chip kicks and bombs we had nothing ,marshall was back to the bad old days pre-moltzen pushing passes not finding touch etc there lies the problem without moltzen marshall tries to do it all and must feel the pressure i dont know if lui or tomato can step up but i dont think lazarus was the answer and the coach did not appear to have much confidence in him moving him around everywhere. If lui or tomato dont shine i think our season will be another, just missed the semi's again

We lost a game where by all accounts we were set up to lose, the refs only made it worse and we defended a ridiculous amount on our own line. This and the fact we're only 4-2 means we aren't under pressure yet. If we head into our rd 9 bye at 5-3, I'll be pleased.

i think by not having a halfback who can do his job in the team it puts marshall under pressue to come up with something all the time he tries to hard .

Payto and Gslloway were a bigger loss than Moltzen. Not sure even he would have helped s score enough to win.

We are also not giving enough credit to the doggies. Their attack may have been off but they out enthused us, just ran hard and killed us in the back end of the game.

I think Moltzen is a huge loss. It resulted in Farah being played out of position, and Marshall pushing plays that weren't on.

Benji was off because he had no room in front of him. We had one prop, and despite a superb game, he can't do it by himself. As I remember, our second starting front rower didn't take a hit up (ignoring latching on to an offload) until around the 10th minute. That's f**king disgraceful, especially when you consider the efforts of others in the pack.

The problem was not Benji being ineffective, or that he was let down by a half who wasn't up to it... it was all to be expected. The big thing for me was that he lost the plot and started doing all his old dumb sh*t. I was most happy about the maturity he was showing this year and it all went out the window from the minute things weren't going right.

Great point there mate and couldnt agree more, I was watching the game thinking the same thing. It probably started when he missed the kick for touch and then went from there.

I have said in other posts that I think Benji's maturity has come on leaps and bounds but this particular game he probably tried a bit too hard and I would think he is a bit dissapointed in himself for slipping back into his old ways, look for a big game and much more controlled from him this week.
