Did anyone else think Underbelly lost steam once the bodies started to dry up.

The final episode was almost as bad to watch as The Strip last Thursday.

The reason why Underbelly was compulsory viewing was because of the story.....granted they took liberties with some of the elements, the fact that these events actually occurred is what made the show what it was.......shootings, deaths and drugs in suburbia.

The fact that the actors did a good job only enhanced it's appeal.

I'm signalling that the prequel will be a monumental flop because there won't be a pile of bodies, there won't be a hail of gunfire each episode, etc.
